Cheesy Gnocchi Recipe

Cheesy Gnocchi is a very simple gnocchi recipe and it's my daughter's favorite. She like it very simple. I have not cooked it in traditional Italian style but keep it simple by adding tomato sauce, pepper and grated cheese. Lofa xaak  which is called  Chinese mellow  in English is one of the most healthiest leafy vegetable available during winter. Kathalu diya Matidail | Assamese style Split black gram curry with yam (Dioscorea bulbifera)

Mati mahor dail (āĻŽাāϟি āĻĻাāχāϞ), urad dal  or black gram has a special place in Assamese cuisine. Mati dail is ofen served in hokam or religious functions at home. Assamese style split black gram can be prepared in many different ways.  Sometimes by adding  khar  and sometimes by adding elephant apple etc. Today I'm going to share a simple Assamese style mati dail recipe where I have added yam or Kathalu. Assamese Bogori diya Masoor Dail / Red Lentil Recipe, Assamese style

I think you heard about famous Assamese masor tenga,  the sour fish curries. But have you ever heard about Assamese tenga dail, the sour lentil curry or soup. Assamese cuisine is also famous for sour lentil recipes. Masoor dal or red lentil is often cooked with sour ingredients to make tenga dail in Assamese cuisine. Bogori diya dail or lentil cooked with jujube is an Assamese style dal recipe. Indian Jujube popularity known as 'ber' in Hindi and 'bogori' in Assamese. It's botanical name is Zizyphus jujuba. Indian jujube is a small round shaped fruit whose taste is sour when raw and becomes little sweeter when ripened. In this recipe I'm using ripened jujubes. You can also use dry jujubes to make this recipe. Jujube is an winter fruit and generally available between December to March. Potato croquettes  are fried potato rolls, coated in breadcrumbs, crispy from outside and soft from inside.  In Indian potato croquettes are called aloo chop or potato chop.  These potato croquettes are actually very easy to make.  You can use your leftover boil potatoes to make it.  You can also add meat, vegetables, cheese or anything of your choice.  The only rule to make these croquettes are that you have to roll croquettes over breadcrumbs and fry in oil.
