Simple Banana Cake Recipe


Banana cake is a cake where bananas are used as a primary ingredient. You can use leftover ripe bananas to make this cake. It's a very easy recipe. Banana cake is a soft, sweet and moist cake that everybody likes. Mashed bananas are mixed with other cake ingredients to make it more sweet and flavourful.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour (maida)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar 
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter or refined vegetable oil 
  • 2 large ripe bananas 
  • 1 tbsp baking powder 
  • 2 tbsp tutti frutti 
METHOD:
  1. Mash the bananas using mixer grinder. 
  2. In a large bowl beat eggs. 
  3. Add unsalted butter or vegetable oil. Mix well. 
  4. Add mashed bananas. Mix well. 
  5. Add maida, baking powder and powdered sugar. Mix everything well to make a lump free batter. 
  6. Add tutti frutti and mix well. 
  7. Grease oil or butter in a cake pan. 
  8. Pour the batter in the pan. 
  9. In a preheated oven, bake for 30-35 minutes at 180 degrees.
