Night flowering jasmine plant or xewali / sewali is a small tree with long hairy leaves. The flowers are fragrant and white in colour with orange-red centre. Night jasmine flowering plant is a medicinal plant. Its flowers and leaves are used to cure many diseases in Ayurveda.

INGREDIENTS:
  •  5-6 night jasmine flowering leaves 
  •  1/2 cup chickpea flour 
  •  1 tbsp rice flour or semolina 
  •   1/4 tbsp cumin powder 
  •   1/4 tbsp coriander powder 
  •   1/4 tbsp red chilli powder 
  •  salt to taste 
  •  oil to fry

METHOD:

  1. Wash night jasmine flowering leaves under running water and soak in salted water. 
  2. For batter take a bowl. Add chickpea flour+rice flour+cumin powder+coriander powder+red chilli powder+salt.
  3. Add water as required.  Mix them properly.  Don't make it too thick or too thin.
  4. Now in a pan heat oil. Dip the night jasmine flowering leaves one by one into the batter. Fry them in oil till golden brown or till the fritters become crispy.  Drain, and serve hot.
  5. Don't serve once the fritters become cold, because it'll lost its crispness.

Mustard green is a green leafy vegetable. I love its taste.  Its little bitter but it taste good once cooked.  Many recipes can be made with this beautiful green leafy vegetable. Namsing : A Mishing Delicacy

 Mishing are an ethnic community living in parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Unlike other Assamese cuisines, Mishing cuisine is also unique of its kind. Mishing people are mainly non-vegetarian and rice is their main food.
