Spicy baby potatoes recipe

Who doesn't like potatoes.  This spicy baby potatoes recipe is a very simple but tasty vegeterian recipe which I like to serve with dry roti ( Indian bread).  Try this tasty recipe this weekend. You can also serve this recipe as a side dish with steamed rice.

INGREDIENTS:

16 baby potatoes3/4 cup of chopped coriander leaves1 onion chopped1 tomato chopped2 green chillies chopped1/2 cup cream1/2 tsp turmeric powder1/2 tsp cumin powder1/2 tsp coriander powder1/2 tsp red chilli powder1/2 tsp garam masala1/3 tsp cumin seeds1/3 tsp ajwain3 tbsp oilSalt to taste


METHOD:

Boil potatoes.  Peel off the skin. Rub with salt and turmeric.  In a pan heat oil.  Fry potatoes till light brown. Drain and keep aside. Fish curry with Spinach (2)

Spinach is a green leafy vegetable and is one of the healthiest greens. It grows during winter and has many health benefits as it contains lots of vitamins and minerals. Spinach in Assamese  is called paaleng haak. This fish curry with spinach recipe is a very simple fish curry recipe.  You can serve this recipe as a side dish with steamed rice.

The recipe of Fish curry with Spinach

Ingredients:

.• 4 pieces fish

• A bunch of spinach

• 1 onion chopped

• 1 tomato chopped

• 1/2 cup cream

• 1/3 tbsp whole cumin seeds

• 1/3 tbsp ajwain

• 1/2 tbsp cumin powder

• 1/2 tbsp coriander powder

• 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder

• 1/2 tbsp garam masala

• 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder

• 4 tbsp tbsp oil
&
• Salt to taste



Method :

Eating fish head may sound bizarre,  but we Assamese  people  like to eat fish head.  Not only fish head we eat fish eggs and fish intestines  also. Here in this post I am going to share 4 simple fish head recipes.  You can serve these fish head recipes as a side dish with steamed rice.



1. Fish head with roasted Golden Lentils (Moong Dal) :



INGREDIENTS :

1/2 cup moong dal1 big fish head cut into two or four parts.1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste1 onion finely chopped1/2 tsp cumin powder1/2 tsp coriander powder1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp garam masala powder1/2+ 1/2 tsp turmeric powdersalt to taste

METHOD:

In a pan roast moong dal in low heat till light brown ( stirring occasionally) . Remove from heat.
