The recipe of mixed leafy vegetables xaak
Ingredients:-
•• 1/2 cup each chopped leafy vegetables of:
1. Mustard green
2. Red amaranth
3. Green amaranth &
4. White goosefoot
● 1/4 tbsp fenugreek seeds
● 2 tbsp mustard oil
● 2green chillies chopped
&
● salt to taste
Method:-
- Heat oil in a pan. Add fenugreek seeds. When crackling, add chopped leafy vegetables. Add chopped green chillies and salt. Mix and fry.
- In a medium heat cook untill leafy vegetables become soft. Leafy vegetables require less time for cooking. Cover the pan while cooking.
- Remove from heat and serve hot with rice as a side dish.
