Mutton Curry recipe: 1
Ingredients:
- 250 gms mutton pieces
- 2 big red onions chopped
- 2 big potatoes sliced into 2 pieces
- 2 cardamom
- 4 cloves
- 2 pieces of cinnamon
- 1-2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp black peeper powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2-3 tbsp mustard oil
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a heavy bottom pot or in a pressure cooker. Fry mutton pieces until oil separates and mutton pieces turns light golden brown. Then add bay leaves, ginger-garlic paste and chopped onions. Fry for 2-3 minutes. Now add turmeric powder, cumin powder and coriander powder. Add potato pieces. Mix and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and cook for few minutes.
- Add 2 cups of water. Bring to boil. Close the cooker and cook until mutton became soft abd tender ( cook for 2-3 whistle)
- Let the cooker open itself. Add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, black pepper and garam masala and cook for another 5 minutes in medium heat.
- Remove from heat. Serve with rice or roti.

Ingredients:
- 250 gms mutton pieces

- 1 tomato chopped
- 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 cardamom
- 2 pieces of cinnamon
- 3-4 cloves
- 1/2 cup yogurt beaten
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
- 3 tbsp mustard oil
- Salt to taste
Method:
- In a bowl take the beaten yogurt and add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder , ginger-garlic paste and chopped tomatoes. Mix well and keep aside.
- In a heavy bottom pan or in a pressure cooker heat oil. Fry mutton pieces until oil separates and mutton pieces turns golden brown. Add chopped onions and fry for 2-4 minutes until onions become tender.
- Now add yogurt mix. Mix well and fry for few minutes stiring occasionally. Add 2 cups of water. Bring to boil. Close the pressure cooker and cook till mutton pieces become soft and tender ( cook for 2-3 whistles) .
- Let the cooker open itself. Again in medium heat add garan masala. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and Serve with rice or roti.
