Fruit Salad

Fruit salad  is a sweet dish that contains different fruits and served as a side dish or as dessert. It is very easy to prepare. You can use any fruits of your choice that are available in the season. There is no hard and fast rule of using fruit types in making fruit salad. Here in this recipe I am using different fruits which were available in my kitchen.There are different recipes of making fruit salad. In making fruit salads different sauces, syrups, fruit juice or yogurt are used. Here in this recipe I have used fresh cream and yogurt which were available in my refrigerator. Fruit Salad

  • Preparation Time : 15 minutes
  • Refrigerator Time : 3 hours 
  • Total : 15 minutes
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds 
  • 1 banana, sliced 
  • 1 pear, peeled, cored and chopped 
  • 1 guava, chopped 
  • 1/4 cup dry fruits (groundnuts, cashew nuts, raisins etc.) 
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream 
  • 3 tbsp yogurt
  1. In a large bowl add pomegranate seeds, sliced bananas, chopped pear, guava and dry fruits. 
  2. Toss to combine. 
  3. Add fresh cream and yogurt. 
  4. Mix everything well and toss gently to coat. 
  5. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours. 
  6. Serve chilled. 


In a large bowl add pomegranate seeds 

Add sliced bananas 

Add chopped pear 

Add chopped guava 

Add dry fruits 

Add fresh cream 

Add yogurt 

Combine all and toss gently to coat. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours and serve chilled.
