Youtube content creator most popularly know as youtuber is a person who create videos on different topics and shares on youtube channel, which is a free video sharing platform. Youtubers can earn money by monetizing their youtube channel with Google Adsense.

1. NITU'S AKHOL



Nitu's Akhol is a food youtube channel created by Nitumoni Das Sarmah. Based on a small town called Numoligarh, in the district of Golaghat, Nitumoni live with her husband and daughter.

Nitumoni liked acting and dancing since her school days. She was able to show her dancing talent in folk, kathak and bihu dance performance in different places. During her collage days she was also involved in drama and play. She also acted in 7-8 Assamese VCD movies.


She did her graduation in the year 2005 and then got married in 2008. After marriage she started learning and cooking different recipes and since then cooking becomes her new passion. She writes food columns on different Assamese newspapers and magazines like Aaina, Nandini, Suranjana, Anayajug etc. She also shares recipes on different food groups on facebook. And now as she wants to turn her passion into profession, she started her youtube channel. Wishing her success in her new beginning.


2. MAMON'S THOUGHTS & HOBBIES



Beauty @Mamom Patangia Das is originally from Tejpur and now resides in Guwahati with her husband and two daughters. Professionally she was a school teacher. But due to some family problem she left her job to take care her kids at home. Now she takes home tuition.

Mamon love cooking and therefore she created her youtube channel.  She shares different recipes in her channel. Wishing her success.

3. PRANITA'S KITCHEN



Pranita's kitchen is created by Pranita Das who is a teacher by profession. Pranita lives in Barpeta and cooking and gardening are her hobbies. As she has a passion for cooking, Pranita started her cooking youtube channel. Wishing her success in her new beginning.

4. PRANPI KITCHEN



Pampi Deka is the creator of Pranpi Kitchen which is a cooking youtube channel. Cooking, listening to music, travelling and reading Assamese novels are her hobbies.

How to make KHAR of Assamese Cuisine

Khar is an alkali prepared from sun dried skin of some varieties of banana. It is prepared by filtering the water from the burn ashes of the skin of the banana. Therefore it is also called kolkhar (kol means banana). It is preserved in bottles and can be used for months. It sounds bizarre but Assamese people are using khar as a cooking ingredient since time immemorial when salt was not discovered. It is believed that khar cleanses the stomach.

 A traditional Assamese meal begin with khar recipe.  A khar recipe can be prepared with raw papaya, bottle gourd, dry Jasmin flower,  doron bon xaak, fish head etc. In a khar recipe khar is the key ingredient.  One or two tablespoons is enough to prepare khar recipe.  Khar can also be consumed as raw by just adding chopped garlic,  few drops of mustard oil and salt.

Raw tomato chutney / Green tomato chutney

Raw tomatoes or green tomatoes  are the tomatoes which are unripe or still green in colour. Raw Tomatoes contains antioxidant and vitamin C which is good for health. Here in this post I'm going to share two raw tomatoes or green tomatoes chutney  which can be served as a side dish with steamed rice. 


Green tomatoes chutney with mustard seeds paste :

INGREDIENTS:

2 green tomatoes2-3 green chillies 1/3 tbsp nigella  seeds ( Kala jeera) 1/3 tbsp cumin powder 1/3 tbsp red chilli powder 1/3 tbsp turmeric powder 1 bay leaf2 tbsp yellow mustard seeds 1-2 tbsp mustard oil little chopped coriander leaves salt to taste 

METHOD:

Soak yellow mustard seeds in warm water for at least half an hour. Drain and make a fine paste. Keep aside. Wash green tomatoes under running water . Chop roughly. In a pan heat mustard oil. Add bay leaf and nigella seeds. When crackling add turmeric powder. Add chopped tomatoes. Cook until oil separates. Add cumin powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well. Add whole g…

I prepared no onion no garlic dal khichuri and labra sabzi on the occasion of Biswakarma puja at home last week. Together with khichuri and labra, I also served roasted papad, pickles,  luci (Indian flattened bread) and curd.

Iron-Rich fish curry with spinach

Every second woman in India is anemic.  Anemia is a disease  caused due to lack of iron in diet.  So we should  include iron-riched food in our everyday diet.

The symptoms of iron deficiency  are of ofen feeling  tired,  pale skin,  hair fall, easily breakable  nails etc.  Anemia or iron deficiency  reduces working  capacity of an women. So we should always include iron riched food  for  a balance  diet.

Spinach is one of the richest source of iron.  So as the fish is also a great source of iron.

Here I am sharing two fish curries with spinach.  The procedure of making these fish curries are almost same.  In one fish curry I am using modhuxuleng and in the other tomato.

Modhulxulend or polygonum microcephalum is a green leafy vegetable  found in Assam.  It's  taste  is sour and is used to make fish curry and chutney.  If this vegetable  is not available , use tomato.

Pressure cooking process is faster than the conventional methods of cooking. It saves time as well as energy.  Pressure cooking is my everyday businesse. I cook rice and lentil in pressure cooker everyday.  Beside rice and lentil I use pressure cooker to boil potatoes and vegetables,  to make pulao and briyani and of course pressure cooker is good to cook mutton.

This mutton curry in pressure cooker is a simple and quick mutton curry recipe that I used to make in my busy days. As mutton takes time to cook, pressure cooking makes it easy and faster.  This recipe is also good for beginners who want to cook mutton curry.
